Apeiron Update: Dev Report March 2024
Hey doods! It’s that time again and we’re here reporting on all things Apeiron with our monthly Dev Report. It was a VERY busy and exciting month at the Foonie Magus HQ so lots of things to go through! But before we dive in 👀
Here are some quick reminders:

Community
Successful Token Launch
With the superlative efforts of our incredible Web3 team, and with full support from our amazing partners, Apeiron has successfully launched its $APRS ecosystem token! Now, users can trade $APRS on Bybit and on the Ronin Katana DEX.
It took us a long time to reach this moment, and we’re incredibly proud that we’ve made it happen. This has only been made possible with the hard work of our Foonie Magi, community leaders (you know who you are!), and partners. And so it was that Foonie Magus celebrated the TGE launch in our HQ last week with a giant cake featuring doods launching into the godiverse! Check out the snaps below.
The Nova Tournament — now live!
Overseers, members of Doodaria, Talon organizers and representatives from United Esports have all worked tirelessly together this month as our teams have prepped for the start of the tournament. And we’re happy to report that with all the preparation complete, Day 1 of the Nova Tournament Western Conference was a resounding success!
All thanks to our casters, staff from the backend, and chat moderators who seamlessly collaborated with the Apeiron Team! A round of applause to our casters, @chief @xero @Biku @Lawton, as well as all of the participating players! We can’t wait to see what happens over the course of the next few days and weeks.

The Community Coaching & Asset Management Initiative
March also saw the launch of our Community Coaching & Asset Management Initiative, in which highly-skilled Apeiron coaches share their knowledge to help newcomers and grinders alike take their game to the next level. These have been quite popular and we’ll certainly be continuing them!
Weekly coaching sessions and assets management sessions take place every Monday and Tuesday respectively at 2PM UTC. Though these are mainly for our asset holders, our F2P players are (mostly) welcome to join in and learn more about how to take advantage of everything Apeiron has to offer! Dev
Upscaling Servers!
With the $APRS token launch happening, there has also been a significant increase in the number of players rushing to join in on the fun and see what Apeiron is all about. As such, we’ve needed to increase our server capacity!
We have upgraded from four to an impressive thirty-two servers, increasing our server workload capacity and providing Apeiron with more memory and processing POWER (KAPOW!). We hope that this upgrade will ensure smoother gameplay for all of our players.
Game Fixes
Even though the PvP open beta has been released, our game designers are working on modifying the PvE aspect to prepare for a full S3 launch soon.
Based on community PvP feedback, they’ve been actively adjusting some skills, revamping others, and also stomping out bugs in order to provide a hot and ready PvE experience for the upcoming release. Their focus has been on improving for the dungeon game loop, the dungeon difficulty system, and refining the exciting new addition of the Hot Spring System!
On top of all this, we have plans to introduce new Artifacts that will buff your combat power when casting skill cards. Keep an eye out for changes in the Artifact descriptions, which may give hints as to the big picture behind Apeiron’s mystical lore…
Back to Planet Simulation Concept Art
As our artists have completed designing the S3 character models, they have started to explore our planet simulation game mode and made some new concept art. They’ve designed some wells, plants, mines, scarecrows, and even more! Can you imagine doods carrying out activities here and there already?
It’s a big world for little doods, but we’re sure that you players, as gods, will take care of ‘em~
Chef is COOKING
Those who follow our Twitter might have already seen this, but since our 3D artists had put a lot of effort into making this stylish cool video, we just have to showcase it here again:
That’s right, the Chef has made his appearance in our current PvP demo! Make sure you download our latest version, and you’ll find the chef standing in your Cradle. The whole Cradle was created piece by piece by our 3D artists, so take your time and wander around and sniff some Cradle flowers.
Here’s a spoiler… *whispers* Although the chef’s hot pot is not open for business at the moment, you’ll have chances to taste his dishes in the S3 release. For more game design information on the S3 dungeon, read here!
New story series
A brand new story series has just been released — Apeiron Dreamcore. Is it a reflection of reality or merely a dream? Perhaps it takes place in a distant time far removed from our own…? With so many mysteries, one thing I can assure you is that it IS connected to the main story of S3. 👀
Last week’s story revolved around a poor dood residing on a famine-stricken planet, forced to earn his food through battles. Will he triumph or will he face the cruel fate of an empty tummy? What does a dood tournament look like? Hop on and read!
